After acceptance, the candidate is assigned a supervisor or supervisory team, who provides feedback and guidance in presenting the publications effectively.

ThUnder the supervisor’s guidance, the candidate writes a critical commentary that links their individual publications into a cohesive body of work, showing how they contribute to a common theme or research question.

Participation in Advanced Research Course
During the supervision phase, the candidate will join an advanced research course designed to deepen their understanding of research methodologies and practices. This course equips them with the necessary skills to conduct high-level scholarly work, contributing to greater research cohesion.

Participation in the Swiss Colloquium
The candidate also participates in the Swiss Colloquium, where they can stay updated on the latest trends and developments in their field, network with other professionals, and meet their supervisor in person to discuss their research progress.

Regular Supervision Meetings
Along with attending the colloquium and research courses, the candidate has regular meetings with the supervisor to receive feedback on their commentary and ensure their portfolio meets doctoral standards.
